Allister condemns Republican threat

Statement by Jim Allister MEP:
"I am appalled that republicans are threatening the life of an ex-UDR man in the Ballymoney area. Last night the PSNI informed the individual that they were in receipt of information suggesting an imminent attack. Whether the threat comes from mainstream or so called dissident Republicans was not specified, but who ever it comes from, it is sickening that such continues and another family is being put through this torment.
It is imperative that the PSNI match this threat with adequate and meaningful security for this family. The police should also specify the illegal organisation involved."
