Borg will be welcomed in Kilkeel

"After the passage of more that a year since I first invited Commissioner
Borg to visit Northern Ireland, I welcome the fact that he will visit
Kilkeel on 11 November.  With our fishing industry under immense pressure
and as we face the annual quota setting session in December, it can only be
of assistance for the Commissioner to hear at first hand the problems and
aspirations of the industry. I, therefore, look forward to a productive
visit which will compliment my work on the Fisheries Committee, since it is
always easier for a Commissioner to understand the issues once he has seen
the industry in action."
