Huge salary increase for Invest NI Chief

Statement by TUV Leader Jim Allister:-"Gifting the Chief Executive of Invest NI a salary increase of up to £30,000 pa - itself more than we pay many nurses and teachers - is a staggering move at this time of severe public austerity, when a public pay freeze has applied to ordinary public sector workers.
"I really do think Invest NI has lost the run of itself in making such a gauche move.
"I note the attempted justification by removing the option of a bonus. In this regard I challenge Invest NI to come clean and reveal how much bonus, or performance related pay - as they like to call it - the Chief Executive has received since coming into office."
