Sinn Fein's phoney and perverse "Equality" Agenda

04 December 2012

Statement by TUV Leader Jim Allister

“Recent moves by Sinn Fein expose the real meaning of their supposed ‘equality’ agenda.

“In truth the DUP’s primary partner in government is not interested in equality, but in conquest. Its every move is to destroy the Britishness of Northern Ireland.

“Hence, the orchestrated campaign against the national flag on the City Hall of our capital city – where “the compromise” of designated days is but a holding position till they achieve its complete removal; the sectarian insistence on forcing a play park in Newry to be named after a notorious IRA terrorist; and the achievement in Newry & Mourne Council of pre-eminence for the Irish language, with English relegated to second place in all official documents and signs.

“It is very clear that while IRA/Sinn Fein rests the armalite the latest phase of their war is now waged with the same venom on the cultural front – both with the same mission of driving the Brits and Britishness out of Ireland. Culture is now their chosen theatre of war.

“Unionists across Northern Ireland, who voted for those who empowered Sinn Fein in government, should realise you get what you vote for and this is what insatiable Sinn Fein rule looks like.

“While the DUP publicly laments what it’s partner is doing, it still clings Sinn Fein to its bosom in government and every day in Stormont sustains them in the very place – government - where they can do most to advance their anti-British agenda.

“IRA/Sinn Fein has not changed, and will not change. Its ‘Ourselves Alone’ mentality rules its every move and gives birth to its commitment to domination, whether achieved through terrorism or cultural aggression.”
