Political Pressure Must Not Impede Prosecution

Statement by TUV MLA Jim Allister:
“I welcome the fact that leading Sinn Fein/IRA figure Padraic Wilson has been charged with IRA offenses by police officers investigating the infamous murder of Robert McCartney.
“It is imperative that justice is seen to be done in this case. There should be no question of political pressure being exerted in order to impede the prosecution.”
