Good news at Wrightbus

Statement by local TUV MLA Jim Allister:-
"I greatly welcome the confirmation that the London Mayor, Boris Johnston, has made good on his election pledge to proceed with the huge Wrightbus order.
"This is further tribute to the excellent product, workforce and management of Wrightbus. We are so fortunate to have this innovative and progressive company in North Antrim, providing stable and skilled jobs. The loyalty of the company to the local area is a welcome contrast to how foreign owned FG Wilson has behaved recently. If there are more jobs now at Wrightbus, then maybe some of those thrown out of work in Larne and Monkstown will find opportunities. If buses can be manufactured successfully in Ballymena for export, then it demonstrates our manufacturing sector does not have to be doomed."
