Statement by TUV Leader Jim Allister MLA:-"The spectacle of Sinn Fein Minister O'Dowd today acting as official minder for dissident prisoner Corey during funeral parole speaks strongly to the pan-republican nexus. When it suits Sinn Fein denounces dissidents as 'traitors', yet campaigns for their prisoners and today provides an official escort.
"I wonder was the publicly funded ministerial car used by O'Dowd to pick up his charge? Nothing would surprise me!
"David Ford disregarding and effectively overturning the Judicial Review refusal of parole is not a prudent precedent."
