Runkerry golf resort Decision Welcomed

Statement by North Antrim MLA Jim Allister:
“I welcome the decision to grant planning permission for an 18 hole golf course and hotel complex at Runkerry and hope that the development lives up to its promise and that Bushmills Dunes will become yet another reason for tourists to visit the beautiful North Antrim Coast.
“Runkerry has the potential to generate income in an area which has been badly hit by the economic downturn and the decision adds significant weight to the calls for an upgrading of the A26. It is essential that having granted permission of the golf resort to go ahead the infrastructure is put in place.”
