The Massereene verdicts

Commenting on the Massereene murder verdicts, TUV Leader Jim Allister said,
"Whereas the conviction of Chivers is welcome, clearly he did not act alone and others are guilty and must be brought to justice. These were horrendous murders on a par with the multiple unsolved murders of IRA/Sinn Fein. One of the most striking revelations of the trial was the confirmation that the weapons used were supposedly decommissioned Provo weapons with a bloodstained Provo history. While there was what is termed inter-dissident co-operation in these murders, the history and origin of the weapons suggests the matrix of republican collaboration is even wider than admitted."
