Allister welcomes EU small business initiative

Speaking today, DUP MEP Jim Allister QC said, “I welcome a recent initiative within the EU whereby a new website has been set up to help small firms find partners elsewhere in the EU and in neighbouring countries. The site should help facilitate across European business allowing small and medium sized enterprises from more than 20 different sectors to take part in match-making events at major international trade fairs etc.
With enlargement it is important that such opportunities as exist there are taken advantage of by local Northern Ireland Companies and this could involve the finding of partners from new Member States and vice versa”.
