“After an extended summer break one would have thought that the Executive would be bursting with new ideas to kick start the Northern Ireland economy and address the ever lengthening dole queues.
“Yet a glance at the first two weeks of Assembly sittings will reveal to any impartial observer what many already knew – that the administration with which we are currently lumbered is simply bereft of ideas.
“There is not a single piece of executive business to be discussed. Rather the very thin order papers are taken up with Private Members Business. Some of the issues raised are certainly worthy of debate, but none will produce legislative or executive action.
"As for a Programme for Government – nothing, though 4 months have passed since this DUP/Sinn Fein cabal came to office!"
