Lillis release latest sop to republicans

Statement by TUV Leader Jim Allister MLA:-
“The release of Brendan Lillis is but the latest sop to republican prisoners. Lillis has not only been released but he escapes trial.
“Having rolled over under pressure, it’s no surprise that the weak Justice Minister emerges looking extremely foolish from this saga. However, some of those now making points about this release should look round the Stormont cabinet table to see just how many of such ilk they are sustaining in office.”
