Which Unionist Party does Sinn Fein want to win?

26 April 2011

Statement by TUV Leader Jim Allister:-

“The DUP’s latest election slogan could equally and perhaps more honestly say ‘The Unionist Party Sinn Fein wants to win”.

“Sinn Fein has much to be grateful to the DUP for, because without their somersault in 2007 McGuinness wouldn’t be Joint First Minister and he wouldn’t be able to rejoice in the partnership of “Peter and I”.

“The DUP sold its anti-Sinn Fein credentials a long time ago and it will take more than an empty slogan to con anyone into thinking a vote for DUP is anything other than a vote for four more years of the same DUP/Sinn Fein cabal, failure and regression. Those wanting to hurt Sinn Fein the most will vote TUV, rather than for those committed to keeping IRA/Sinn Fein in government.”
