It'll take more than fluffy pledges to defeat terrorists

Statement by TUV Leader Jim Allister:-
"It'll take more than gimmick of 10 sec answer to 999 calls and glossy brochure to defeat IRA! Fluffy ideas, but no anti-terrorist strategy.
"All very well to answer calls in 10 secs, but taking 10 hours to respond rather puts it in perspective. It's a bit like police cones instead of police constables being the modus operandi.
"Sadly, the PSNI is under strength, denuded of its anti-terrorist capacity and ill-prepared to face a resurgence in IRA terrorism."
