What a nauseating hypocrite!

22 February 2011

Commenting on the demand by convicted bomber and Sinn Fein Minister, Gerry Kelly, that the Chief Constable should make a craven apology over police handling of the McGurk Bar explosion – based on the rewritten Ombudsman’s report – TUV Leader Jim Allister, said, “If Kelly wants apologies I suggest he starts with himself. He is a convicted bomber and someone who boasts of shooting a prison officer in the head. Not one word of apology for his wicked terrorist activity, including the death resulting from his Old Bailey bombing, has ever passed his lips. Yet, he has the audacity to demand that the Chief Constable utters the words he demands but will never speak of himself. The police didn't cause any deaths in McGurk's bar, pity the same can't be said about Kelly and the Old Bailey. What a hypocrite!

“The sooner we have TUV MLAs in Stormont to confront such hypocrisy, the better.  Unfettered by political alliance with IRA/Sinn Fein, TUV will not let such absurd posturing pass, nor will we roll over to every orchestrated demand from the insatiable republican community.”
