ALLISTER REJOICES IN DUTCH DOUBLE WHAMMY
Speaking this evening, DUP MEP Jim Allister said, ““With the overwhelming Dutch rejection the EU Constitution is now so holed below the waterline that it should be allowed to sink without trace.
EU leaders must face the reality that nation states, when allowed to speak, do not want the hideous centralised conglomerate that this Constitution would provide. Most thinking people still want national decisions taken by national governments, which they can replace, not by unelectable bureaucrats in an all-powerful Brussels.
The increasingly desperate President Borroso needs to explain what part of “No” he does not understand. Maybe, then we can help him.”
