“If reports are correct that the draft PAC report on DRD/NIW finds failure by the Department to revisit and repair governance arrangements for NIW, then, it’s a further indictment of Conor Murphy and yet another reason why he should resign.
But, once more, I fear, the perverse rules of Stormont will cocoon Murphy from the fate that would befall him in any accountable democracy, despite the fact that one of the outworkings of the governance failure was lack of preparation for the recent catastrophic water crisis.”
