Grand Lodge decision

06 March 2010

Commenting on the outcome of the Grand Lodge meeting TUV Leader Jim Allister said:-

“While Grand Lodge was right not to give the DUP a blank cheque, I hope it does not have occasion to regret its down payment of trust in the DUP/Sinn Fein deal. Only the legislation passed will demonstrate if any betterment has resulted.

“There are far more important long-term Orange and Unionist interests at stake than the short-term needs of the DUP.”
