What a silly Storey!

18 February 2010

Responding to Mervyn Storey’s bad tempered attack TUV Leader Jim Allister said:-

“Poor Mervyn, he doesn’t have the courage to run for his own party’s nomination in North Antrim so releases his pent-up frustration by spewing bile in my direction.

“Considering that it is the DUP which has given us actual joint authority with IRA/Sinn Fein in Stormont and meekly accepted the presence and meddling of Brian Cowen and Dublin Rule in the strand one issue of policing and justice at Hillsborough, it really takes a staggering level of hypocrisy and lack of consciousness to ascribe to others your own sins.

“Misrepresent TUV as he will, everyone, including the voters in North Antrim, know that it is not Jim Allister but the DUP which, in the here and now, has given us Martin McGuinness to rule over us and which has bought into all the all-Ireland structures of the Belfast Agreement.  So trying to paint me as the promoter of Sinn Fein and Dublin rule just makes Mervyn look even more foolish and desperate than hitherto.”
