The real implications of rolling over to Sinn Fein on policing and justice

23 January 2010

Speaking of the launch of a TUV ‘Fact Sheet’ on policing and justice, Jim Allister said:-

“This publication, by quoting the on the record comments of Sinn Fein leaders, demonstrates beyond doubt the strategic role which securing the devolution of policing and justice plays in IRA/Sinn Fein’s Brits Out agenda.

“When you see policing and justified defined as “a new arena of struggle for republicans” and it being about “sovereignty” and “central to ending British rule”  and “fundamental for an all-Ireland Justice system” and “interim to a United Ireland”, then you realise why no Unionist should be playing Sinn Fein’s game or delivering their agenda. Shame on those who, for the sake of clinging to office, are prepared to be the delivery boys, and girls, of Sinn Fein!

“I implore all Unionist MLAs, before it is too late, to waken up and realise just what they are doing in bringing policing and justice to an Executive in which IRA/Sinn Fein holds the control of veto.”
