Allister tells republicans to call off the dogs in Rasharkin

Statement by TUV Leader Jim Allister
"The latest violent sectarian attack in Rasharkin is not just a vile attack on this particular family but the latest manifestation of the republican drive to cleanse this village of its Protestant citizenship. It must be resisted and defeated.
"What has been going on for months in Rasharkin exposes the hypocrisy of those who mouth platitudes about 'equality' but control a community unwilling to afford basic human rights to Protestants within their midst. I remain convinced that IRA/Sinn Fein could turn off the tap of intimidation and violence if it really wanted to."
