Allister comments on IRA attack
16 October 2009
“This morning’s murderous IRA attack on a police officer’s girlfriend must be utterly condemned. It is, of course, the latest in a series of attacks emanating from Republicanism. The fact that the bomb was planted in one of the most Unionist areas of Northern Ireland is obviously designed to send a message.
“It is my sincere hope that the security forces learn the lessons of the past and take robust measures to deal with this threat.”
