Allister remarks on arrest of poster vandal

Traditional Unionist Voice candidate Jim Allister MEP has welcomed the arrest of a poster vandal. An individual involved with attempting to remove the MEP’s election posters in Mid-Ulster was apprehended by Police in Magherafelt on Tuesday night.
The MEP said,
“I congratulate the PSNI on apprehending and arresting the individual concerned, who clearly has little respect for the democratic process. I do hope this incident sends a clear message that tampering with election posters is against the law, and appropriate sanctions will follow for perpetrators according to the law.”
