Statement by TUV Leader Jim Allister MEP:
McGuinness' boast (Irish News 10/4/09) of anticipated progress in the short term to Irish unity and his identification of the Belfast Agreement Assembly, Executive and cross-border bodies as the vehicle, should be a timely reminder to every Unionist of the folly of gifting IRA/Sinn Fein the highest office in the land and the means as Ministers to promote, at every turn, their unaltered anti-Ulster agenda.
Only those beholden to the system for career and benefit, will fail to acknowldege the obvious strategem of Sinn Fein.
As Peter Robinson once rightly said, before he succumbed to the lure of office, "There is no quicker or better way to destroy Northern Ireland than from within its own government."
