Allister welcomes Israeli rebuff of Adams

Statement by Traditional Unionist MEP Jim Allister:
“I greatly welcome the decision of the Government of Israel to refuse to meet Gerry Adams because of his intention to consort with Hamas. It is good to note at least one government still sees Sinn Fein for what they are.
It is no surprise that on his Gaza visit Adams intends to bring succour and encouragement to Hamas. In the European Parliament Sinn Fein is constantly found on the side of international terrorists, be it FARC, ETA or insurrectionists in Gaza. So, when Adams gravitates in to the Middle East towards Hamas he is being true to form.”
