Also on Tuesday, the Parliament will vote on the extension of PEACE II. Whereas I will support this measure, I make it clear that unless the imbalance in fund distribution, which disadvantages the Protestant community, is tackled effectively, then I see no future for this PEACE funding beyond 2006. On Wednesday, the Parliament will hold an emergency debate on the Tsunami disaster. This will be an opportunity to focus on the EU response, about which I have been critical, believing that the dire needs of the people of Asia affords better outlet for EU aid than much of the wasting of resources so infamously associated with
