“The fact that these dastardly IRA murders took place in South Antrim, not South Armagh, underscores the extent and depth of the threat from republican terrorism.
Whatever IRA flag of convenience is used to claim these murders, of greater significance will be what the forensic examinations show as to the history and lineage of the weapons used.
Spare us the crocodile tears of the Stormont political wing of the IRA. The common cause which Sinn Fein showed, in opposing effective anti-terrorist moves this week, with their murderous kith who pulled the triggers last night, tells us all we need to know about the bona fides of McGuinness and Co when it comes to resisting terrorism. There is a mutual affinity between all the strands of the IRA, which every Unionist and democrat would do well to recognize.”
