Allister answers Easton’s attack

Statement by Traditional Unionist MEP Jim Allister
“I note the latest stooge MLA by the DUP Press Office to attack me is Alex Easton. Is this the same Alex Easton who used to assiduously lobby me, when I was a DUP Party Officer, to ensure I stood firm against the “sell out” which he saw emerging before and after St Andrews? I certainly am the same Jim Allister, sadly, Mr Easton is now a cheer leader for IRA/Sinn Fein in government. To suggest, as he does, that this Belfast Agreement devolution is “good for Unionism”, shows just how far he and the DUP have drifted from their moorings.
“Just like Mr Easton used to think, I still think IRA/Sinn Fein ruling over us, and abusing their power with impunity, is indeed both appalling and wrong.”
