Allister's disgust over Parade to celebrate IRA man

01 July 2008

“I am disgusted that this Saturday in Pomeroy the joint First Minister, McGuinness, will head up the celebrations of the depraved exploits of a notorious terrorist from East Tyrone, Seamus Woods."

"Woods met his just deserts on 7 July 1988 when he helped launch an IRA attack on Pomeroy RUC Station. Pomeroy Sinn Fein website links to a site dedicated to him which boasts of his vile exploits as someone who took part in “numerous operations”.

"On Saturday, McGuinness will lead a coat-trailing march through Pomeroy. This blatant glorification of terrorism gives the lie to the pretence that Sinn Fein is now in the camp of law keepers, not law breakers.
McGuinness poses during the week as a democrat, but this weekend will again wallow in glorifying the terror which his wicked organisation, particularly in East Tyrone, visited upon innocent victims.”
