MEP pays tribute to Robert Dunlop

Statement by Traditional Unionist MEP, Jim Allister:-
'Robert Dunlop, like his brother Joey before him, was an iconic giant in his sport.
His achievements brought great credit to him and his native land of Northern Ireland. His personal modesty contrasted with his status as an international motorcycle racing star. The Province-wide outpouring of sympathy confirms the deep affection in which he was held. Even within Europe I have been struck by the number of foreign MEPs who have mentioned his passing to me and knew of his remarkable road racing achievements.
Naturally, our heart goes out to his family, particularly his widow, three sons and grieving mother.'
