Jim Allister MEP welcoming Dr Thaung Htun, the international representative of the opposition to the Burmese Junta, to the European Parliament in Brussels. Mr Allister has been involved in the Parliament in raising several individual cases of persecution in Burma, particularly of Christians, and has attacked the military Junta in Foreign Affairs debates.
